Manufacturing/Production Engineer

We have an opportunity for a Manufacturing/Production Engineer for a leader in the aluminium wholesale market of doors, windows, frameless glass hardware and wardrobe systems.
Attention to detail is a must, as are excellent communication skills.
We seek someone who is enthusiastic multi-tasker who is focused, flexible, and confident.
The role primarily covers optimisation of manufacturing, production and quality control. Responsibilities include: Technical production support

• Support implementation new products and sections
• Liaise with suppliers to create tooling and dies as required
• Assist and train staff and customers on new and existing products
• Ensure a product release timeline

Lean Manufacturing

• Liaise with production and operations
• Manage procedure to ensure all products are stored and handled correctly

Quality Control

• Implement and maintain appropriate quality inspection procedures
• Liaise with suppliers to rectify any issues found with products
• Implement and maintain faulty goods management procedure
• Oversee/manage rectifications of any faulty products with clear internal communication and action plan to rectify the problem.
