Orca Spirit Adventures is looking for part time On Board Naturalists for the 2024 Whale Watching Season. We are looking for someone who is a natural born leader with experience working in and around water; someone who is knowledgeable and passionate about the local waters surrounding Vancouver Island. The primary responsibility of the naturalist is first, to assist the captain in ensuring the safety of the passengers and the vessel at all times and second, to provide an educational and enjoyable experience for Orca Spirit guests.

POSITION DETAILS

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Biology or be in the process of obtaining,
or have equal experience through practical work in a similar role. The On Board Naturalists
must have or be willing to obtain Marine Emergency Duties A2 and Marine First Aid.
