Markers - Validation of Assessment 4 Learning & Individual Development (VALID 8) 2023

The Australian Council for Educational Research has been appointed to manage the marking of the extended response component of the Validation of Assessment 4 Learning & Individual Development (VALID 8) 2023.

Marking will be undertaken in one corporate centre located at the ACER office in Alexandria, Sydney. Preference will be given to current Stage 4 science teachers. No previous experience in large scale marking operations is necessary.

The training for VALID leaders will be conducted on Thursday, 16 November, and Friday 17 November, VALID Marker training will be conducted on Sunday 19 November 2023. Marking will commence Monday 20 November and continue until Friday, 24 November 2023, or until completed.

Compulsory training for leaders and markers is on Sunday, 19 November from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Weekday marking will be conducted in the evenings only from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Please refer to the marking schedule for intended marking days.
