Market Risk AnalystMy client Is looking for a Market Risk Analyst that will be able to utilise their strong communication skills to manage risks associated with financial markets, investments, and trading strategies. You will be responsible for analyzing Profit & Loss and Position results, contributing to the growth of the Market Risk (MR) function, monitoring and reporting on trading activities, resolving issues, liaising with other risk and front office professionals and ensuring compliance with established controls.
Location: Brisbane based preferred but open to Melbourne or Perth Candidates.

Qualifications and Skills Required:- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Quantitative or Risk Management.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in trading and risk valuation techniques, preferably in commodities trading
- Technical Experience in either Python, C++ or SQL
- A curious and driven personality with demonstrated strategic and lateral thinking to trading strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders.
