The Opportunity

The Marketing & Communications Officer plays a key hands on role in supporting the development and delivery of integrated marketing and communication initiatives that elevate the VMG brand, drive business growth, and engage both internal and external stakeholders.

This is a varied and execution focused role, ideal for a marketing professional who enjoys working across campaigns, content, digital channels, and events. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure marketing initiatives are delivered effectively and on brand.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and events.
• Ensure marketing activity aligns with business objectives, brand positioning, and growth targets.
• Manage campaign timelines, budgets, and performance tracking.
• Identify new marketing opportunities to support business and brand growth.
• Develop, distribute, and optimise internal and external EDMs.
• Monitor engagement metrics and refine campaigns to improve performance.
• Maintain brand consistency across all communication and digital touchpoints.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and cross functional teams on short  and long term initiatives.
• Plan and support the delivery of events, activations, and campaigns.
• Coordinate event logistics, marketing collateral, and promotional materials.

What You Need To Succeed

Essential

• 3-5 years’ experience in marketing and/or communications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing digital channels and creating engaging content.
• Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable

• Experience in financial services, lending, or B2B marketing.
• Basic design skills using tools such as Canva or Adobe.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
• Experience supporting or coordinating events.
• Exposure to AI marketing tools (e.g. content generation, campaign optimisation, or workflow automation).
