Marketing and Communications Specialist

A leading Australian diversified financial services business who delivers advice and investment solutions to clients throughout Australia. The business has a track record spanning over two decades and is in an exciting growth phase where marketing will play a key role, they operate in a hybrid manner and have offices throughout Australia.

About the Opportunity

Based in Sydney, this role is reporting to the Group Head of Marketing and Communications and supporting the Head of Distribution. The Marketing/Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining the business’ marketing communications framework including all collateral, content and communications channels. The role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth and increase brand awareness for the company and its investment partners. 

Accountabilities;

• Responsible for maintaining all collateral and content produced and ensuring that it is published in a timely manner and suitable for its intended audience, this includes presentation packs, portfolio reporting, video content and platform documents
• Managing the relationship and deliverables of the external PR/Media agency
• Manage timelines and budgets while working closely with stakeholders to deliver successful marketing activities that are aligned to the business' engagement plans and growth targets
• Manage the production of marketing materials and digital assets of the business by utilising  adobe creative and wordpress
• Help to organise in person events and webinars
• Support Distribution team in developing and deepening the relationship with existing clients
• Analyse and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to internal and external stakeholders and make recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that the company remains at the forefront of marketing innovation.

What do you bring?

You are a marketing/communications professional who has a can-do attitude, impeccable client services skills with a background in the financial services industry preferably within investments or financial advice. You have experience working in the digital marketing space which has developed your ability to use relevant social media platforms in a commercial context. You have a natural ability to distil complex information into succinct and meaningful insights.
