Marketing and Events Officer

Combining intellectual independence, academic support and social development, we are seeking a self-directed and dynamic individual to provide marketing, events and communications support to the Director of Advancement.

This is an exciting role combining elements of Administration, Events and Marketing within the College’s Fundraising team. 

Working in partnership with the Director of Advancement, the Marketing and Events Officer will provide support for the College’s fundraising activities to build and maintain strategic relationships, and drive growth and engagement with the alumni community.

This role will see you:

• Develop marketing collateral, copywrite and edit material, and write proposals.
• Support the delivery of fundraising campaigns, programs and appeals.
• Conduct all communications with alumni, students, staff, parents and members.
• Correspond with donors and students to advance fundraising efforts.
• Deliver regular digital and print communications across alumni social media channels and the College website.
• Build a strong network with alumni and report on alumni and donor activity and achievements.
• Oversee event administration and networking opportunities.
• Communicate with a range of stakeholders, internally and externally.

About You:

• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated relationship and empathy building with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Relevant University qualification or experience.
• Strong organisational and administrative expertise.
• High level of technical competence in relevant databases and computer literacy.
