Marketing Assistant

McGrathNicol is a specialist Advisory and Restructuring firm, helping businesses improve performance, manage risk, and achieve stability and growth. Our National Clients & Markets team is seeking an energetic Melbourne-based Marketing Assistant. This is an excellent role for a junior marketer looking to step up and gain marketing experience in a supportive team environment. You will be responsible for providing marketing, administrative and operational support to help the team complete daily tasks and execute national initiatives and projects. 

What you will do

• Undertake daily tasks related to our website, intranet, and CRM.  
• Coordinate updates to staff photos, CVs, and job credentials.
• Assist with the coordination of internal and external events and conferences. 
• Provide a high level of administrative support to the Clients & Markets Partner and broader team.
• Point of liaison between our national offices and the team, fielding all general enquiries. Provide support to ensure brand compliance and assist with marketing collateral.
• Support team projects such as the development of videos, templates, and reports.

Who you are

• 1+ years of work experience with a relevant education in marketing, business or similar.
• An interest in marketing and strong administration and organisational skills.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the able to work independently and as part of a team.
• A high level of attention to detail and committed to high standards of work with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
• Outgoing, enthusiastic, with a mindset to constantly learn and show initiative.
