Job Description - Marketing Communications Specialist

This is ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions

 

ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions is a joint venture between ANZ Banking Group and Europe’s leading payment technology company, Worldline.

 

We launched in Australia in early 2022, providing in-store and ecommerce payment solutions to around 60,000 Australian businesses. Since then we’ve built a new modern technology platform to enable an exciting roadmap of products and solutions that we’ll launch in Australia throughout 2023 and beyond.

The Opportunity (fixed term contract till 31st Jan 2025)

The Marketing Communication Specialist will be passionate about creating compelling marketing communications, managing events, and driving brand campaigns. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure consistent brand messaging and a seamless customer experience.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute planned and ad-hoc operational and change customer communications, including service updates via email and post.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Product, etc.) to ensure accuracy and consistency in customer-facing communications.
  • Monitor customer feedback and engagement to continuously improve communication effectiveness
  • Event Management
  • Contribute to the development of integrated marketing campaigns that align with business goals and brand identity.
  • Act as the guardian of the brand identity, ensuring consistent application across all company materials and touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments and external partners, vendors etc

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in marketing communications, event management, and brand campaign execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, content management systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to contribute innovative ideas to campaigns and projects.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with design principles and the ability to provide clear creative direction.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing and communication.
