We are looking for a Front Of House Salon/Marketing Coordinator to join our team and help elevate our brand presence both in the salon and online.

Job Summary: As the Front Of House Salon/Marketing Coordinator, you will be the face of our salon, ensuring a welcoming experience for all clients. You will manage daily front desk operations and lead our marketing efforts, coordinating and executing social media strategies to enhance our brand to the next level. This dual role requires a balance of exceptional customer service skills, being the first impression of the business and a creative marketing mindset to elevate the brand. 

Key Responsibilities:

Front Of House Duties:

• Welcome clients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Manage the salon diary, scheduling and rebooking appointments.
• Taking payments over the phone, EFTPOS and cash handling.
• Answer client queries via phone, online and in-person.
• Direct a team of hairdressers in creating and planning social media content.
• Maintain a clean and organised front desk area.
• Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers as needed.

Marketing Coordination:

• Develop and execute social media posts, reels, and content calendars.
• Lead marketing meetings to brainstorm and execute new initiatives.
• Coordinate with the team to produce high-quality content that can be shared online, in magazines and billboards. 
• Manage the salon's website updates and ensure content is current and engaging.
• Oversee campaigns and other advertising efforts.
• Analyse social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to maximize engagement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a front-of-house or reception role
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and content creation tools.
• Creative thinking and ability to generate engaging content ideas.
• Basic knowledge of website management and marketing principles.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and a professional appearance that is on brand.
