Specialist Marketing Data Analyst

About the role:

As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving our marketing strategies through data-driven insights and analysis.

The key purpose of this Specialist Marketing Data Analyst role is to build the connection between the various client inbound data bases and provide insights into the performance of the various marketing initiatives. The role is the link process across a multitude of digital marketing initiatives, classic customer relationship management and business development strategies.

You will work closely with the marketing team to evaluate campaign performance, understand client behaviour, and identify opportunities for growth. Your analytical skills and strategic thinking will be key in helping us optimize our marketing efforts and achieve our business objectives.

Based on your data analysis, you will help influence our marketing strategies through insightful review of the various data streams to help identify opportunity areas.

There is lots to do:

• Review the data streams associated with our digital marketing activities
• Optimise and streamline the flow of this information into the organisation
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
• Develop reports based on detailed analytics of the data streams to build insights and recommendations that can drive actions to improve brand, segment, and category performance.
• Contribute to the development of brand strategies and plans based on actionable information driven from inbound customer data driven insights.
• Synthesise primary data and secondary data to provide holistic analysis and insights.

About you-your recipe for success

• Demonstrable experience working within a data analytics role
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills
• Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot) and CRM systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, well organised and able to prioritise and manage multiple projects
• A curiosity to see through the numbers and provide insightful actionable feedback.
