Marketing Executive Overview
The Marketing Executive will help with managing content strategy, email list segmentation, monitoring email deliverability for all stakeholders and working with our charity partners to build meaningful campaigns. The role will also involve the briefing/development of creative assets across digital media and event related collateral
This role will also support our existing partners and customers as well as those who are interested in becoming involved in our events.
This role does not require previous event experience however this is preferred.
Role Description
- Candidate will manage production, execute and measuring of the of event marketing campaigns including digital assets, eDMs, social media, radio & associated administration tasks.
- Contributing to the delivery of creative campaign ideas and research on industry trends
- Working with partnerships team charities, and sponsors to ensure their contractual/sponsorship benefits are delivered across key event communications.
- Copy creation for event guides and event apps (where appropriate)
- Providing input into social and digital marketing strategy.
- Organising weekly social content via social scheduling software.
- Developing a creative brief for specific Pont3 projects, working with our designer to ensure all creative components are brand appropriate and delivered in a timely manner.
- Developing stage and Emcee scripts
- Help develop surveys to gain more data insights around our participants, their experience of our events and their engagement with partners.
- Work collaboratively with the Partnership Manager to create meaningful post event reports to share with key stakeholders and partners.
Event Week Operations
- Sourcing and briefing photographers and videographers for events with assistance from the Marketing Director.
- Briefing and management of event volunteers
- Supporting customer service team participants race bibs, processing race changes and event entries.
- Managing the running order of the main stage in the recovery village including event presentations.
- General event support
- Answering participant queries in person
- Supporting elite athletes and team runners (including general, sponsors and charity teams)
Essential criteria
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively internally and externally, both verbally and written.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Social media and eDM campaign experience, MailChimp. Survey monkey
- Analysis and reporting skills.
- Passion for health, wellbeing, and active lifestyles.
- Well presented, level-headed and calm manner.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Passion for learning and the ability to transfer that passion and learning to others
- Highly organised with good time management skills.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office suite, Canva, familiarity with CRM systems, and databases and WordPress websites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team.
- Ability to work on some weekends and some after-hours work during busy periods.
- Previous experience in marketing/customer service or other related fields.
