Marketing Lead (Fixed Term)

THE ROLE

We're looking for a trusted, experienced Marketing Lead with a real understanding of growth marketing to take ownership of our marketing operations for a 12-month, fixed-term engagement - we're open to candidates looking for full-time or part-time, provided you can commit 4–5 days per week.

This is a broad, outcomes-owning role. You'll move fluidly between hands-on delivery and oversight depending on where you can add the most value, with genuine specialist depth in growth marketing at the core. You'll lead and develop a team of specialists across design and events - including overseas - and input into marketing strategy, and run the day-to-day: owning the growth plan while directing and quality-checking work across channels you're not personally executing.

Critically, this isn't a pure people-leadership role. We need someone with deep, hands-on growth marketing experience - comfortable being accountable for commercial outcomes, backing themselves on the tools, and building trust quickly with a new team. If that's you, this one's for you.

DAY TO DAY

• Own growth marketing strategy and execution, keeping pipeline and revenue channels performing without disruption through the cover period


• Lead, manage and develop the team (including the Events Coordinator, Design and a remote overseas report), keeping people engaged, clear on priorities and productive through a transitional period


• Input to and operationalise the marketing budget against the agreed plan, keeping spend on track and directed to where it's working hardest


• Partner with Sales and RevOps to keep pipeline contribution and attribution clear and defensible


• Track and report on commercial outcomes across weekly, monthly and quarterly cadences, giving leadership reliable visibility throughout the engagement


• Own and support the team's output across paid, lifecycle, design and events, and manage agency partners where relevant, so quality and brand standards hold regardless of who's executing


• Own the marketing tech stack (e.g. Airtable, Factors.ai, Webflow, Zapier), keeping systems running without downtime or workflow breakages


• Drive the team's AI adoption and coach others to do the same, building efficiency gains into how the team works by the end of the engagement

WHAT YOU BRING

• Deep, specialist experience in growth marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, e-commerce tech or logistics tech


• People management experience, ideally including remote/overseas direct reports


• A track record of contributing to strategy while staying hands-on with day-to-day delivery


• Comfort being accountable for commercial outcomes, reporting on budget allocations, and understanding what numbers have the biggest impact and how to leverage them


• Hands-on experience with marketing tech stacks — able to troubleshoot and manage workflows/integrations personally; experience with Webflow and ClickUp desirable


• Confidence overseeing events, partnerships and design without needing to run every piece personally


• Experience with AI practices and impact in marketing


• Availability for a 12-month fixed-term engagement at 4–5 days per week

• Domain experience in Retail, e-Commerce or Logistics Tech
