Marketing Manager ACT Government

Our client is a well-respected ACT government department who focus on providing top notch government services and land programs throughout Canberra. They are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Marketing Manager to join their business unit. This organization plays an integral part in developing marketing plans and supporting branding and program development materials. 
  
The successful candidate would ideally have experience in planning and delivering marketing campaigns within the Government and/or property sector on an initial 12 month contract based in Dickson.

Reporting into the Senior Director, Marketing, in this exciting Marketing Manager contract, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Support marketing for greenfield estates, urban redevelopment sites, and the corporate brand.
• Strategy development, creative campaigns, event management, administration, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop, deliver, and implement targeted marketing and communication plans for a key ACT Government Land program.
• Assist with campaign marketing across various channels: print, TV, radio, online newsletters, corporate publications, events, industry development/consultation, and public relations.
• Liaise with external suppliers (marketing agencies, graphic design, media placement, web design, publication distribution) for communication services.
• Coordinate event logistics for sales and corporate marketing activities.

To be successful for this Marketing Manager contract, you must have experience with the following:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns.
• Experience in the property sector and working with Government is desirable.
• Attention to detail and strong project management.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of consumer behavior, digital platforms, and content marketing.
• Strong writing skills for developing marketing collaterals and briefs.
