Job Description - Marketing Managers, Directors & Consultants - Fuse Recruitment

A rare opportunity presents itself to join our team on a fixed-term basis. As part of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you'll step into the role of Marketing Manager to provide operational leadership and execute our existing strategy during a crucial period of parental leave cover. Working closely with our Managing Director, you'll drive marketing initiatives, manage the marketing team, and ensure strict alignment with our current business objectives.

Role Responsibilities:

  • People Leadership:
    • Lead and inspire the marketing team to drive performance and deliver exceptional results.
    • Support the professional growth and development of Marketing team members, enhancing their capabilities in alignment with their roles and responsibilities.
  • Marketing Strategy:
    • Provide strategic marketing expertise and leadership within the department.
    • Develop comprehensive marketing plans aligned with national objectives, leveraging all available platforms to achieve traffic, sales, financial, and market share goals.
    • Conceptualise and execute creative campaign strategies across diverse channels and target audiences.
    • Analyse and leverage data to improve marketing metrics and effectiveness.
    • Prepare and deliver regular reports on marketing performance, focusing on ROI, traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
    • Prepare performance reports for SLT and executive meetings.
  • Marketing Branding and Content:
    • Ensure all marketing initiatives align with business strategies and adhere to branding guidelines.
    • Maintain high standards of content quality and brand consistency across various marketing materials (e.g., blogs, emails, social media content, videos, documents).
    • Oversee website management and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
    • Guide award submissions and tender writing processes across all Fuse channels.
    • Ensure branding consistency externally and internally.

 
Required Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of marketing best practices and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing marketing programs that drive engagement and enhance business growth.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Project management expertise, adept at planning, organising, and overseeing tasks to achieve objectives.
  • Compelling storytelling abilities to communicate ideas and narratives effectively.
  • Results-oriented approach, consistently achieving and exceeding goals.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in interpreting data to inform decision-making.
  • Proven teamwork capabilities, fostering collaboration and synergy within diverse teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, skilled at building rapport and effective communication.
  • Creative and strategic thinking, generating innovative solutions and approaches.

Required Experience:

  • Extensive experience in a marketing manager role that includes both B2B and B2C marketing.
  • Proven expertise and confidence in designing, implementing, and managing marketing automation to create customer journeys and maintain accurate database health.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, influencing and collaborating with directors and cross-functional teams.
  • Track record of leading and developing marketing teams to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Recognised for trustworthiness, reliability, and dedication in professional commitments.
  • Proven experience in planning and optimising multi-channel marketing campaigns to meet specific business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills with a history of using data-driven insights to optimise campaigns and drive informed decision-making.
  • Substantial experience in effective project management, overseeing multiple initiatives and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience or exposure to the recruitment industry is essential. Additionally, experience in within the real estate industry will be considered.
