Are you a creative and organised marketer who loves bringing great stories, experiences and events to audiences?
Whitehorse City Council is looking for a Marketing Officer (Performing Arts) to join our Marketing and Communications team and help connect our community with an exciting program of live performances at The Round. Opened 3 years ago after a $78m redevelopment, The Round has already solidified its position as a premier performing arts centre and a cornerstone of the community.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across a vibrant selection of events in the arts, within a supportive and motivating team environment. You’ll play an important role in promoting performances and events at The Round, as well as supporting venue hire and in-house marketing opportunities. You’ll work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on campaign planning, delivery and reporting. You’ll apply your creative and strategic skills to social, digital, email, radio, print, OOH and more.
About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Advisor (Performing Arts), you will support the delivery of integrated marketing and communications campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
Your work will include:
You’ll be primarily based between Whitehorse Civic Centre and The Round, with opportunities to attend performances, events and other activities outside standard business hours when required.
About you:
You’re a capable and enthusiastic marketer who enjoys working across a variety of projects and channels. You’re highly organised, have an eye for detail and can manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
You will have:
A demonstrated interest in, the performing arts, events or cultural sector will be highly regarded. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is also desirable.
