Job Description - Material Planner

Could you be the full-time onsite Material Planner in Dandenong, AU we’re looking for on a 12 month fixed term contract?


 


 


Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain and planning expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless material planning processes, driving supplier performance improvements, and contributing to the success of Alstom’s supply chain objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (procurement, material planning management, and suppliers), analyze supplier confirmations versus Alstom’s needs to identify risks, and maintain accurate material planning master data in compliance with stock and logistics constraints, and much more.


 


We’ll look to you for:



  • Express delivery needs to Suppliers using the dedicated tools

  • Follow up deliveries and ensure the availability of goods for Alstom projects

  • Monitor Supplier's performances KPI's

  • Participate/lead Supplier's performances improvement

  • Contribute with SC inputs for supplier selection

  • Contribute to the project SC objectives and targets by ensuring material planning and ERP settings are in line with these objectives.

  • Graduated at least from Higher Education in Business Administration or Engineering or Supply Chain.

  • Materials requirements planning

  • Supplier Delivery Performance Management

  • Inventory management & Material Planning techniques

  • Industrial scheduling

  • Transport & Distribution

  • Supply Chain information systems

  • Data analytics
