Job Description - Material Scientists & Engineers

FUZE bring advanced composite technologies and the lessons of aerospace engineering to other commercial applications. We are seeking Material Scientists & Materials Engineers to join our Project Delivery team.

Responsibilities/duties of the role:

  • Pushing composites into new areas of application
  • Understanding the strengths and limitations of materials and how to design with them
  • Working from a base level of research and material characterization into full-scale testing and site execution, drawing from innovation and rigorous methodology
  • Data analysis, troubleshooting, reporting and presentation of experimental findings
  • Reporting through the engineering and technology group
  • Bachelors or higher in related Science or Engineering field
  • An inventive and analytical mindset
  • Practical experience with composites
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise duties appropriately
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of safety protocols
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with other personnel in the team
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain high-quality performance under time-critical scenarios
  • Must have the right to work in Australia

The successful candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening prior to an Offer of Employment being made.
