MC and HC Drivers

About the Role
Our client is an Australian owned company providing reliable logistics, freight and supply chain services to premium brands and manufacturers Australia wide.  

Candidates for these positions will have their MC or HC License and have proven experience and reliability in previous positions, particularly with local deliveries as well as tautliner and load restraint practices. 

POSITION: MC DRIVER
LOCATION: Canning Vale / O'Connor
START TIME: 4.30AM or 5.30AM
SHIFTS: Monday to Friday (around 45-50 hours per week)
PAY RATE: $39.06 per hour plus shift penalties and super.
SCOPE OF WORK:
• Driving prime movers towing double trailer between our Canning Vale and O'Connor site.
• Trucks will be loaded with 13 x 3T Paper reels
• Drivers are required to strap their load and pull curtains open and closed
• Sign for all loads including pre-departure documentation and interact with clients on delivery
• Experience reversing two trailers is essential.

POSITION: HC DRIVER
LOCATION: O’CONNOR
START TIME: 4.30AM - 5.30AM
SHIFTS: Monday to Friday (45-50 hours per week)
PAY RATE: $38.50 per hour plus shift penalties and super.
SCOPE OF WORK:
• Driving prime movers towing single trailer
• Able to hook and unhook trailers is essential
• Experience reversing is essential.
• Trailers will be loaded with pallets of cardboard by forklift operators.
• Drivers are required to strap their load and pull curtains open and closed
• Perform pallets count of load and report to office
• Sign for all loads including pre-departure documentation and interact with clients on delivery

POSITION: HC DRIVER
LOCATION: Forrestfield
START TIME: 6:00AM - 8:00AM 
SHIFTS: Monday to Friday (45-60 hours per week)
PAY RATE: $38.50 per hour plus shift penalties and super.
SCOPE OF WORK:
• Driving prime movers towing single trailer
• Able to hook and unhook trailers is essential
• Experience reversing is essential.
• Trailers will be loaded with pallets of plastic bottles by forklift operators.
• Drivers are required to strap their load and pull curtains open and closed
• Perform pallets count of load and report to office
• Sign for all loads including pre-departure documentation and interact with clients on delivery

• Physically fit
• Attention to detail
• Experience with reversing is essential.
• Friendly manner for customer interaction
• Good English skills
• Willing to assist other drivers
• Can follow instructions.
• Flexibility to cover other sites at O'Connor, Canning Vale and Forrestfield

About You
The successful applicants will possess:

• 12 months HC or MC Double experience
• Tautliner and load securing experience
• A clean driving record
• A strong knowledge of traffic laws, particularly truck driving rules and regulations
• Strong time management skills
• A valid MC or HC licence
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test.
