Volunteer Opportunity â Support Mealtimes for People Living with Dementia HammondCare Wahroonga â Aged Care Home

Do you have a caring nature and a bit of time to spare? We're looking for compassionate volunteers to support residents living with dementia during mealtimes at our aged care home in Wahroonga.
By assisting at 12pm (lunch) or 5pm (dinner), youâll help create a calm, supportive, and enjoyable dining experience. This may include helping residents to the dining room, offering encouragement during meals, and providing a warm, friendly presence.
Your patience, empathy, and kindness can make a real difference to someoneâs day.
Whatâs involved:
Volunteering during mealtimes (12pm or 5pm daily â choose what suits you)
Supporting residents with gentle encouragement and conversation
Being a calm and reassuring presence
Whether you can give your time once a week or more often, your support will be truly valued.
