A leading specialist in providing technology to the global mining industry is seeking an Engineering Draftsperson to focus on their screen media solutions. Your new role


As a key member of their Screen and Feeder Consumable Service Business Line Engineering Support team, you'll focus on a wide range of consumables for vibrating screens, trommels, and ancillary products.

• Collaborate closely with Business Development and Global Service Line Managers to ensure rapid responses to screen media needs.
• Design products, tooling, moulds, manufacturing equipment, and processes within the product portfolio, adhering to design standards and meeting customer requirements.
• Support global engineering efforts by standardising products, optimising production methods, and selecting materials.
• Utilise technical expertise and established design criteria to creat effective, reliable products.
• Participate in design reviews, verification, and approval processes.
• Prepare design briefs and guide third-party resources.
• Contribute to research and development, improving manufacturing efficiency.
• Enhance market knowledge through interactions with colleagues, suppliers, clients, and branch networks.
• Promote a culture of safety for yourself and your team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Recent experience in engineering drafting for screen media.
  
  
• Knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCAD
  
  
• The ability to build relationships internally and with external clients, prioritising exceptional customer service.
  
  
• Success in developing sustainable solutions to increase market share, productivity, and efficiency.
  
  
• Understanding of mining wear solutions, particularly polyurethane and rubber manufacturing processes is desirable.
