About the role

• Team Global Express are seeking Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics in our modern workshop at Karawatha, Brisbane. Working a lifestyle balanced 2 and 1 roster (2 weeks on - 1 week off) from a metro location with all the benefits.
• Lifestyle Roster 2 and 1 Rotating (Days / Nights / R+R)
• Permanent Full Time employment, with Superannuation paid @ 13.75%
• Competitive Hourly Rate: $53.16 per Hour
• 5 weeks paid annual leave
• Wages paid on R&R week
• Great working location in Brisbane (South)
• Diagnosis, repair and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning and hydraulic repairs in accordance with requirements detailed on job cards
• All general servicing tasks
• Coaching, mentoring, training of Apprentices, Trades Assistants, Work Experience etc.
• Maintain quality and urgency in the work preformed
• Operate in compliance to the NHVAS scheme
• Always Maintain a high degree of safety and in-line with HSE policies + procedures
• Supportive and collaborative management
• Supplied and Laundered uniforms.
• Supplied PPE (Including Boots, $300 towards protective prescription glasses)
• Modern workshops with diagnostic equipment
• Develop your career with a variety of training and development options, both in house and through our suppliers

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Ability to work a 2 and 1 rotating roster to facilitate our 24/7 workshop operation.
• Possess a Trade Qualification as a Heavy vehicle Diesel Mechanic minimum certificate (III)
• Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment
• Previous diagnostic investigation experience
