The Position…

With the recent growth in their business, they are currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join the team in their engineering facility. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to pursue a career in the mechanical industry, with a diversity of projects and skills. 

• Preparation and assembly of manufactured components
  


• Assembly of service modules and water carts
  


• Installation and securing of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  


• Manufacturing or modifying components
  


• Troubleshooting and repairing faulty equipment
  


• Reading and interpreting drawings or specifications
  


• Maintaining and adhering to health and safety in the workplace
  


• Ensuring a clean and safe work environment
  

• Normal hours - 10.5 hours Monday to Thursday
  


• Normal hours - 6 hours Friday
  


• Overtime when required
  

The Ideal Candidate… 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Trade certificate relevant to your trade (Cert III or higher)
  


• Valid Australian C Class driver's licence (HR highly desirable, but not essential)
  


• Full Australian working rights
  


• Current High-Risk License – Forklift (preferred, but not essential) 
  


• Previous experience of road trucks and LV’s
  


• National police clearance (or willing to obtain)
  


• Intermediate computer skills (preferred, but not essential)
  


• Strong commitment to safety and quality
  


• Motivated, hard-working and a positive attitude
