Excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company working on capital project upgrades across the site. The role will work as part of a multi-disciplined team reporting to department engineering team leader, managing small to medium sized projects within large industrial manufacturing plant . Responsibilities Development and review of mechanical designs. Preparation of work scopes and tender documents. Procurement of Equipment and contract management Control of engineering package budget and schedule Implementation, review and sign off of QA activities associated with the purchase and install of equipment Development and management of safety management plan specific to projects. Involvement in Hazard and Risk analysis activities Undertake in conjunction with specialists / contractor’s design and constructability reviews Development of installation plans and associated execution documentation. Define work permit requirements for site works activities Management of onsite contractors Supervision of mechanical installation works. Commissioning of equipment and process systems. Experience & Skills Mechanical engineering background with an associated degree in engineering Site experience (safety systems, safe system of work documentation, contractor supervision, project close out etc). Project management skills Good communication and organisation skills to interface with a multi-disciplined team and stakeholders at the design stage and contractors at the installation phase.
