Role Description
Seeking an experienced Medical Administrator/ Secretary for a thriving specialist practice

We are currently seeking a skilled Medical Administrator to join our newly established, beautifully appointed facility on the Gold Coast. We are looking for individuals with extensive expertise and confidence in delivering exceptional care to our valued patients.
The position offers flexible employment options, allowing for either part-time or full-time engagements. Remuneration includes an attractive base rate coupled with professional development opportunities.
As a prominent presence in the surgical and cosmetic treatment industry, our clients organization is rapidly expanding across Queensland. An exciting opportunity awaits a motivated and experienced Medical Administrator/ Secretary to advance their career with us.
Operating from Monday to Friday, our clinic fosters a professional environment with no weekend or late evening commitments.

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following attributes:
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Well-presented with excellent communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong computer skills, and the ability to effectively manage priorities and workflow
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver outstanding patient-centric care
- Reception and administrative duties
- Professionally handle internal and external enquiries
- Schedule appointments, prepare theatre quotes
- Outpatient and inpatient invoicing, including WorkCover, Medicare/DVA
- Receipt payments
- Reconcile daily banking
- Manage high-volumes of email correspondence
- Co-ordinate urgent trauma case bookings
- Operate the phone switchboard and maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Minimum 12 months of specialist medical reception experience or similar
- Experience with Genie preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Teams and Dropbox
- Professional phone manner
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously
