Medical Imaging Debt Collections Officer
Permanent Full Time (Monday-Friday 38 hours per week)
Hawthorn East location (and hybrid WFH)
Salary $69,106 + super

How you will make an impact
We are seeking an experienced Collections Officer to join Cabrini’s dedicated Patient Accounts team. The role is responsible for all aspects of Medical Imaging debt collection processes for Cabrini accounts and would suit someone who has had exposure in billings and/or collections in a Medical Imaging or the healthcare environment. The successful candidate will have a strong customer service focus and have confidence communicating directly with patients, health funds, Medicare and third parties.
Your day will look a little like this:
Following up patients, health funds and third parties for payment
Management of patient enquiries
Liaising efficiently with internal and external stakeholder queries
About you
We are looking for a self-motivated person who takes pride and ownership in their work and will also have the following:
Previous experience in medical imaging or accounts receivable/ debt management is preferable
Exposure to Medicare, Health Funds, TAC, WorkCover and DVA would be an advantage
Relevant account collection experience
Accounts receivable experience in a healthcare setting
Proficient with Visage, MS Office and WebPAS
Exceptional communication skills
