Together, we support our seven Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons who treat a wide range of conditions, defects, injuries and aesthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, jaws and face.

ABOUT THE ROLE

At Oromax we call our administrative and clerical employees Patient Liaison Officers. This is to highlight the importance of providing efficient administrative services for our patients, surgeons, and colleagues for our Clinic and Day Surgery operations.

As part of a dedicated team of administrators, you will be rostered to perform tasks within established procedures ranging from reception, patient phone enquiries, surgery bookings, Preparation of Consult, IV and GA lists.

With seven Surgeons consulting and performing surgeries Monday to Friday, there is always something to do, learn and processes to improve. Within the practice there are opportunities, as you learn, for career progression into personal assistants, finance or leadership positions.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in the role, you’ll need to demonstrate:

• A high attention to detail
• Exceptional customer/patient care skills
• The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
• Strong communication skills
• A basic proficiency with Word, Excel & Outlook

Ideally, you’ll also have experience with:

• Using medical terminology and a working knowledge of health insurance schemes
• Working in medical or dental practices
