Job Description - Medical Receptionist

What you'll do:

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our clinics run smoothly and efficiently. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include handling phone enquiries, booking appointments and procedures, managing clinic billing, liaising with various stakeholders including hospital staff, anaesthetists, and patients. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of rooms between clinics. Your ability to use the Genie program effectively will be crucial in managing scheduling and billing tasks. Above all, your friendly and understanding approach towards patients will contribute significantly to their positive experience with us.

  • Handle phone enquiries, booking appointments, procedures, and clinic billing
  • Liaise with hospital staff, anaesthetists, and patients to ensure smooth operation
  • Manage scanning and mailing of letters as part of administrative duties
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of rooms between clinics, including restocking supplies
  • Utilise the Genie program for scheduling and billing purposes
  • Provide friendly, understanding service to all patients


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Medical Receptionist position brings along previous experience in a similar role with a willingness to learn. Excellent communication skills are required as you'll be liaising with various stakeholders including hospital staff, anaesthetists, and patients.
