About the Position 

Doctors at Newmarket is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join a great and supportive team on a casual basis offering between 3-4 days per week.

This role is perfect for someone who has excellent communication skills, is able to multitask and is comfortable working in a busy environment.

In this role you will:

• Deliver exceptional patient service at all times
• Participate in practice meetings and contribute ideas for improvement 
• Efficiently manage patient data, appointments and follow procedures
• Provide a seamless service to patients whilst ensuring clinic operations, and Doctor workload is effectively managed at all times
• Process patients billings/receipts
• Assist Doctors with day to day administrative support and take an active part in working closely with other team members to manage daily tasks.
• Function in a highly organised and time-efficient manner at all times.
• Attend housekeeping in the Clinic and prepare morning/afternoon teas for our Doctors

• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• High level of computer literacy
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a diverse team and independently
• High-level attention to detail.
• Previous Medical Reception experience would be an advantage however not essential
• Enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to learn and retain information
