Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Medical Liaison Officer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, advocating for the medical use of cannabis, and ensuring the safe and effective use of our client's products.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact for healthcare providers regarding our client's medical cannabis products.
Educate and support clinicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals on the benefits and applications of medical cannabis.
Collaborate with the research and development team to stay updated on the latest clinical data and product innovations.
Participate in medical conferences, seminars, and other events to promote the therapeutic use of cannabis.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to medical cannabis.
Provide insights and feedback from the field to support product development and marketing strategies.
Travel extensively to meet with healthcare providers and attend industry events (up to 60% travel required).
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of medical cannabis and its therapeutic applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interpret and present complex clinical data to healthcare professionals.
Self-motivated, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing).
Advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD) in a related field.
Previous experience as a medical liaison or in a similar role.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to medical cannabis.
