The Opportunity 

 

As a Membership Manager, you’ll lead a high-energy team of Member Support Consultants, inspiring them to deliver outstanding member experiences while driving measurable club growth. This role is about balancing people leadership with performance — guiding your team to achieve sales and retention targets while setting the standard for service excellence at the front desk.

You’ll play a central role in welcoming new members, keeping existing members motivated and engaged, and creating a club culture where both your team and members can thrive, feel supported, and reach their full potential.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Member Support Consultant team to achieve sales and retention targets 

  • Drive member growth through acquisition, integration, and proactive retention strategies 

  • Oversee front desk operations and set the standard for exceptional member service 

  • Monitor performance, set goals, and provide training to ensure consistent team success 

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of Member Support Consultants 

  • Collaborate with club and regional leaders to deliver membership growth initiatives 

 

About You 

  • Proven background in sales and customer service, with a track record of achieving KPIs 

  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle and customer retention strategies 

  • Experience leading, mentoring, or motivating a team to achieve goals 

  • Confident using business systems and reporting tools 

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (WWCC may be required depending on state)
