Essential

• AIN - Working towards Bachelor of Nursing
•  Casual Positions Available
• Awareness and practice of legislation affecting nursing practice and health care
• Strong focus on person-centred, evidence-based nursing care
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated high standards of professional and ethical practice
• Excellent collaboration and consultation skills with individuals, groups, significant others and the multidisciplinary health care team
• Focus on service improvement and ongoing professional development for delivery of excellent patient care and positive health outcomes
• Promotes safety, security and personal integrity in the workplace
• Mental Health Nursing experience and/or working towards career path in field
• Compliance or willingness to comply with HR-4.34 ‘Assessment, Screening and Vaccination of Healthcare Workers’ policy
• The right to work in Australia, appropriate immunisation status and a clear NSW Police Check valid within 3 months
• Desirable
• Able to conduct a comprehensive and systematic nursing assessment
• Mental Health Nursing experience
• Able to complete a Mental State Examination (MSE)
• Experience and an understanding of alcohol and other drugs detoxification principles.
