The Acute Care Team at the Mackay Community Health Centre is seeking applications for a Mental Health Clinician (Health Practitioner or Clinical Nurse) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
About the Team
The Acute Care Team is the first point of contact to public mental health services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Team will undertake triage and may facilitate the referral of the consumer to a more appropriate internal and/or external service such as a community mental health team, an alcohol and drug service or primary health care.

The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
