HiTalent Recruitment is seeking a Mental Health Clinician / Social Worker / Psychologist to join a PHN funded Program in Western Sydney. This role is full-time permanent, with access to salary packaging benefits, supervision and support.
Are you a compassionate and skilled mental health professional with a desire to support individuals who experience mild to moderate mental health in the community?
We are working exclusively with a well-respected not-for-profit organisation to seek a dedicated Mental Health Care Specialist to join their team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in providing recovery based care and psychological therapies to support clients recovery.
Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Conduct risk assessments and deliver mental health care services, including evidence-based psychological therapies and wellbeing interventions, tailored to the needs of clients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Actively participate in individual and group supervision in addition to professional development activities.
- Contribute to program development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uphold organisational values and policies while maintaining a commitment to quality service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A tertiary degree in Social Work or Psychology registration with a relevant professional body - AASW or APHRA
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with clients experiencing mental health challenges.
- Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
