Merchandise Operations Managers are business critical, responsible for the optimisation of merchandise stock flow and financial performance along with the management of online fulfilment/click & collect, safety and compliance. Manage the day to day operations of the store ensuring compliance with merchandise from dock to floor / online, replenishment and shrinkage.

About The Role:

  • Manage the logistics of all merchandise from dock to selling floor, ensure efficiency in stock flow, compliance and safety at all times
  • Oversee merchandise support activities ensuring merchandise optimisation in store, online fulfilment and click & collect 
  • Maintain shrinkage strategy and manage implementation including communication, education, monitoring, review and support
  • Actively drive a high performance, customer focused, service and selling culture 
  • Ensure compliance with processes to remain efficient, effective and streamlined
  • Identify and champion the implementation of operational process improvements
  • Lead, empower and inspire your team with a consistent focus on developing the next generation of Mye leaders

About You:

  • Solid experience in a high volume store management or retail operations role is essential
  • Experience in Logistics/Stock Flow within a retail environment 
  • Proven leadership skills with managing teams including training and upholding safety compliance
  • Working knowledge of OH&S processes and practices
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data, make informed recommendations and decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with influence to diverse teams
  • Ability to drive our Customer First Strategy across a large format department store 
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently, prioritise and meeting deadlines
  • Strong retail, financial and business acumen

Management team members work on a rotating roster including weekends and peak trade hours to meet key store trading hours.
