You'll be joining an organisation committed to modernising its technology environment and driving a cloud-first strategy. The team is focused on delivering secure, efficient, and innovative Microsoft solutions that support long-term transformation initiatives.

Your new role
As the Microsoft/Intune Specialist, you'll lead the design, uplift, and implementation of the organisation's Microsoft environment. This includes ensuring services such as M365, Azure, Power BI, Defender, and Intune are configured, secure, and aligned with best practices. You'll play a key role in migrating on-premises services to the Microsoft Cloud, developing governance frameworks, and improving operational efficiency through automation using Power Automate and Power Apps. Collaboration with IT teams and stakeholders will be central to ensuring security and operational requirements are met.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a strong likelihood of extension.
What you'll need to succeed

Specialist-level expertise in Microsoft Intune for device management and security

Strong understanding of Microsoft services, including M365, Defender, Purview

Proven experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments

Ability to design and implement secure configurations aligned with NSW Cybersecurity Policy and Essential Eight guidelines

Experience with automation and process improvement using Power Automate and Power Apps

Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

Excellent written and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders

Desirable: Familiarity with governance frameworks, documentation standards, and integration of automated workflows into business processes.
