Responsible for service delivery and client sentiment
Driving and managing on new client onboarding
Developing strong risk management and controlled environment
Broad and in-depth understanding of standards, methodologies, processes, systems and technology necessary to support investment management operations.
Conduct high-level analysis in specific areas of expertise, identify and resolve work-processing issues, make suggestions to streamline operations and implement.
Liaise with colleagues in region or divisions globally where required for client issue resolution
Act as the point at which relevant client queries relating to the Investment Book of Records and front office Start of day Readiness, with proactive management to ensure timely response and resolution
Ensure that the teams perform daily checks on file deliverables to the clients, investigate discrepancies and ensure daily resolution of identified queries
Perform an overview function for the Shared Services functions identifying operational trends, issues and areas for improvement.
Perform work independently within scope of established guidelines and according to specific procedures.
Support and proactive manage on Client Change Request items impacting the Enterprise processes and Operating Models
Communicate effectively on issues / problems to the Client and to SSC management and ensure a proper and timely follow-up to ensure resolution.
Provide guidance, support, act as resource and assist team members
Complete any ad-hoc tasks as identified by the line manager
Excellent analytical skills and ability to analyze on the spot.

Extensive asset management experience, including investment operations, fund accounting and portfolio valuation

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Degree in finance, business, technology or equivalent or relevant industry experience 8-10 years of experience
Proven experience in client communication and interaction at all levels
In depth understanding of Middle Office operations, preferably Trade Management Operations inclusive of trade confirmation, settlement & reconciliation. Product and Industry knowledge preferable across - Equity, FI, FX and ETD, inclusive of Global Markets.
Understanding of key technology within the support of investment management operations
Excellent understanding of change management principles, techniques & tools.
Experience in writing SQL, Oracle, Sybase is desired
Strong MS Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint skills necessary
Strong English written and spoken ability
