About the role

Leadership: The Manager for this role is Ross Johnson.  Ross is based in Sydney and is the Practice Lead for our Cloud Apps and Integration practice. Ross is dedicated to excellence and positive impact. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, building and implementing Microsoft Cloud based applications to meet our client’s technology and business needs.  We will count on you to be a subject matter expert who will be engaged in delivery of solutions for our valued clients and who also provides specialist IP support to sales and services teammates.  Along the way, you will get to:

• Research and evaluate client system solution and architecture; draw conclusions; and develop recommendations in accordance with engagement objectives.
• Identify and resolve project issues with clients.
• Supports identification of business and technical requirements.
• Implement technologies and solutions based on designs.
• Develop and maintain effective customer and user relationships, including representing Insight at conferences, User Groups and other marketing/PR activities as appropriate.

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of experience in Azure cloud design and development within a Services environment.
• Strong understanding of .Net, .Net Core, C#, and Python or similar technologies
• Full Stack understanding including front-end ability/knowledge around JS frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue etc.)
• Understanding of Azure iPaaS (Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus and Event Grid)
• Understand of complimentary Azure services (Functions, Web API, Storage, etc)
• Understanding of MS SQL Server (including Azure variants)
• Experience applying enterprise integration patterns using SOA, API's, Microservices, message-based, and file-based approaches
• Experience in end-to-end CI & CD, Branching and merging
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships.
• Excellent written (documentation) and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to execute end to end projects, from the initial requirements gathering phase, design, implementation, training, hand over and post deployment support
