Due to continued growth within Capgemini's Insights & Data practice, we intend to recruit a BI Engineer with relevant consulting and communication skills. Roles and responsibilities: As a Migration Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing data migration strategies, leveraging Azure Data Factory to ensure seamless transitions from legacy systems to modern data platforms. Experience or familiarity with Salesforce is highly desirable. Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design end-to-end data migration solutions using Azure Data Factory.
  • Lead and oversee data migration projects, ensuring seamless transition of data from legacy systems to target environments.
  • Develop and implement data migration strategies, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct data mapping, data profiling, and quality assessment activities to ensure accuracy and integrity of migrated data.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Document migration processes, workflows, and best practices for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Migration Architect, specifically with expertise in Data Migration using Azure Data Factory.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing complex data migration solutions.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce migration processes and tools would be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of data integration, ETL principles, and data modeling concepts.
  • Proficiency in Azure cloud services and technologies, particularly Azure Data Factory.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications would be a plus.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with other data integration tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex migration issues.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
