Mimco has a great opportunity for a Head of Retail to join the team. Reporting directly to the MIMCO General Manager you will be responsible for the management and leadership of the Mimco retail operations team

In this role you will develop, implement, drive and maintain the retail strategy, ensuring successful business performance, growth and profitability. You will show exceptional leadership, to foster a positive and inclusive work culture, that delivers exceptional service standards and best-practice retail operations across all retail channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and drive retail strategic plans to drive the growth and development of the business
• Create and drive a customer service strategy that delivers high levels of customer service and builds customer loyalty and maximises all sales opportunities
• Build and manage Retail annual budget and management
• Accountable for all financials across sales, employment, and shrinkage
• Own and drive the retail incentive scheme - driving the desired behaviours and performance
• Partner with People team to ensure retail team is being coached, developed and succession planned to create a high performing and engaged team.
• Lead a team of Regional Managers, supporting their growth and development
• Have awareness of competitor activity and retail trends, always looking for innovative opportunities that drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

This is a key role within the Mimco Leadership team, working to deliver the strategic initiatives, provide business focused solutions that foster growth of the Mimco brand, the ideal candidate will have:

• Significant experience in National Retail Operations role
• Strategic development and management of retail operations experience
• A passion for retail, with a customer first focus
• A growth mindset, be willing to challenge the status quo
• Outstanding relationship and stakeholder management skills
• A commercial mindset with an ability to drive change
• A proven track record of collaboration and delivering success through teamwork
