Who You Are:

Our team is seeking a talented and creative Minecraft Animator who can use McHorse’s Blockbuster and Aperture mods to animate vanilla and non-vanilla storyboards and scripts to bring them to life whilst integrating content that is relevant and up to date with the latest trends in Children’s, Minecraft, Internet, and Popular Culture.

Your Responsibilities and Skills:

• 
  Vanilla Animation: Proficiency in animating in the "Vanilla" style, utilizing custom camera paths via Aperture and first-person perspective techniques to seamlessly blend with standard Minecraft gameplay, as exemplified in this example.


• 
  Engagement-Enhancing Animation: Ability to animate in the "Vanilla" style while incorporating unrealistic and meme elements to amplify viewer engagement, as demonstrated in this example.


• 
  Clean Style Animation: Expertise in animating in the "Clean" style, characterized by stylized, cartoon animation, ensuring visually appealing and distinctive content, as seen in this example.


• 
  YouTube Analytics Analysis: Proficient analysis of key YouTube metrics and analytics, including Average View Duration (AVD), Click-Through Rate (CTR), Impressions, and Average View Percentage (AVP), to discern successful content elements and areas for improvement.


• 
  Initiative and Script Enhancement: Demonstrated initiative in enhancing provided scripts and instructions, improving animation quality, camera angles, and adding additional background elements as "Easter Eggs" to augment viewer engagement and enjoyment.

Requirements:

• Full and in-depth understanding of vanilla and modded Minecraft


• Experience and moderate understanding of McHorse’s Blockbuster and Aperture Mod


• Experience with creating and animating custom models


• Experience with animating facial expressions and rigs in Blockbuster.


• Ability to meet and understand deadlines.


• Ability to understand feedback and act on it.


• Preferable Additional Skills


• Experience using Replay Mod


• Experience with NPC mods in 1.16.5+ including CustomNPCs, CosmicNPCs, etc


• Experience with machinima filmmaking without Blockbuster in versions 1.16.5+
