About the role and our team:

Our monitoring team help to protect people and property by monitoring medical, security, camera and IoT systems ‘back to base’ in our 24/7 monitoring control room. Working with the team in the monitoring control room, you’ll be taking calls from clients & technicians wanting to test their systems, administering monitoring software platforms and systems, and assisting the team with monitoring as required.

You’ll learn about how large variety of technology hardware works and take your computer and phone skills to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update data and systems within the monitoring team
• Handling inbound and outbound calls to clients and technicians
• Gate keeping technician installs and integrity of monitoring systems
• Responsible for data integrity across all platforms

Additional skills required:

• Confident and positive verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with competing demands to your attention 
• Confident, polite phone manner, patient and empathetic and can keep calm under pressure.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. 
• Good computer and typing skills
• Great customer service skills, confident in a dynamic and busy environment.

Bonus skills:

• Experience in Customer Care, Customer Service or Call Centre environments.
• Exposure to a Monitoring Centre environment is advantageous.
• Experience in security industry and exposure to alarm systems.
• Security License Class 1E, 2BC advantageous (must be willing and able to obtain – will be paid for by Sapio).
• Touch typing

All successful applicants should have full working rights in Australia and will need to pass a criminal history check prior to commencement. Full training will be provided on all systems.
