The role

We are seeking an experienced training development specialist to join our team.

This role primarily focuses on developing training architecture, systems, processes and training material to ensure alignment with industry best practices and the evolving needs of our organisation.

The role will also require engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure training content remains relevant and compliant with legislative requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop training systems , processes and reporting.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand training needs and objectives.
  • Update and revise training content to reflect the latest industry trends, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to various learning styles and preferences.
  • Incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, simulations, and interactive quizzes, to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Manage version control and document updates to track changes and facilitate future revisions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to roll out updated training materials and provide necessary support and guidance.
  • Ensure the ability to record delivered training documentation within our MyLearning environment

Qualifications:

  • Qualification in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field preferred, or extensive relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or learning & development, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual design and layout aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem solver with a passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.
