Mould Shop Supervisor - Energetic Workplace

As the Mould Shop Supervisor, you will ensure that our team operates seamlessly, maintaining a clear direction and understanding of project requirements. Your role will be instrumental in supporting the Floor Manager by streamlining operations and optimizing our workforce to enhance productivity and maintain a positive work atmosphere. This position is perfect for someone who excels in a hands-on leadership role, keen to impact high-profile projects by fostering a skilled team to craft world-class thematic environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficient operation of the mould shop, ensuring all personnel are clear on tasks and responsibilities.
• Lead fabricator, working with our dynamic team
• Work closely with the Floor Manager to optimize shop floor operations and maintain a productive, safe, and clean work environment.
• Coordinate and instruct mould shop personnel on job assignments, ensuring continuous workflow.
• Manage the ordering of materials as approved by the Floor Manager and maintain strict inventory control of hazardous chemicals, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct quality checks, complete documentation for manufacturing processes, and contribute to the creation of construction files.
• Uphold and enforce company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Report any equipment faults, safety incidents, or first aid needs promptly.

Additional Responsibilities for Village Road Show Theme Parks Projects:

• Ensure adherence to lockout procedures and security measures for entering and operating within VRTP premises.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all project-related digital files and printouts.

Role Requirements:

• Proven expertise in fiber glassing, mould making, and composites manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with quality standards, health, and safety regulations relevant to composites production.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Attention to detail, strong decision-making capabilities, and a results-driven approach to work.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in production techniques.
