Job Description – Murex Developer

Job Responsibilities

• Work on Murex product configuration and customisation.
  

• Analyse and develop interfaces and interface mappings.
  

• Support Murex integration and interface development.
  

• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  

• Support business requirements and project delivery.
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Murex 3.1.
  

• Knowledge of Murex configuration and customisation.
  

• Experience with the following Murex components:
  

  • MDDS Rates Import
    

  • RTBS
    

  • Pre-Trade (Booking Sequence and Calculation Templates)
    

  • Pricing Templates
    

  • Datamart
    

  • Accounting
    

• Programming knowledge in Perl.
  

• Database experience with Sybase and SQL Server.
  

• Unix scripting – KSH/Bash.
  

• Java knowledge is an added advantage.
  

• Experience in interface development and mapping.
  

• Knowledge of financial markets and products such as FX, Interest Rates, Fixed Income and Commodities.
  

• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.
  

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  

• Knowledge of GitHub Copilot for interface programming is preferred.
