WA Music is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Retail Sales Manager to lead our team and make an active contribution to the growth of our business.
About Us: WA Music is a vibrant hub for musicians, music teachers and students. We offer a wide range of classical and jazz musical instruments, accessories, and sheet music, catering to both beginners and professionals. Our mission is to inspire and support the musical journey of every customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales growth
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for all customers
- Manage inventory, ensure product availability, and maintain store displays
- Implement effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns
- Train and develop staff to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for management
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leadership or management
- 5 years + experience in retail or a customer service role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for music and a good understanding of orchestral instruments and accessories
- Experience with bowed string instruments ( Highly desirable)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
