About the Role

Sealed Air Australia is looking for a motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to join our Australian Strategic Accounts team.

Reporting to Director Strategic Accounts Australia and New Zealand, you will be responsible for managing and growing a mix of national corporate & mid-tier accounts for Sealed Air.

Key to your success will be your ability to deliver a structured, purposeful, value based, multi layered strategic account management program that ensures ongoing recognized value outcomes for our major customers and for SEE.

This person can be based in any of the following locations: Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitation and Management - Facilitate, manage and deliver structured joint business plans and forums with our major National Food Care customers.
  • Engagement Program - Develop an agreed customer engagement program at national and state/ site level ensuring we have a program of engagement at all levels of their businesses and across all major stakeholders.
  • Manage business relationships with all key decision makers to further our business interests and to ensure we are always aligned to delivering to the customers needs.
  • Margin Improvement - Maximize company profitability by margin maximization – Identify and manage the delivery, execution and reporting of key Deals and Offers programs across the National Key Accounts you manage.
  • Business Planning – Creation of joint, strategic national business plans for each Key Account customer. Own/ Manage the effective implementation with the sales teams and monitoring of the business plan process across the customers entire business – HO and Site.
  • Forecasting – Implement and gain buy-in from the customers and sales team for a process whereby we gain important forecasting information to assist with our S&OP process.

What we are looking for in you?

  • Demonstrated national account management experience & business development experience from a large B2B business environment, packaging industry or FMCG industry highly preferred.
  • Ability to positively influence & coordinate activities of people in support departments.
  • Strong business acumen and deal with senior management, including CFO and CEO levels.
  • Demonstrated proven ability to build and nurture customer relationships.
  • Have high level of strategic level planning and analytical skills.
  • Experience in the facilitation of large joint customer meetings.
  • Experience with National / Key Account Business Review and Development (BRAD) Process.
  • Ability to manage and lead customer negotiations with business planning skills – be able to construct complex and targeted joint business plans.
  • Strong presentation skills and proficient computer skills
  • Strong written & verbal communications.
  • Driver’s license (able to travel regularly for short periods of time including to interstate and overseas locations)
