National Account Manager - Independent Grocery

How you will make contributions that matter

As the National Account Manager – Independent Grocery (Metcash), you will take ownership of a key national portfolio and drive growth through strong customer partnerships and category leadership.

Key elements of your role will include:

• Developing and executing Joint Business Plans to deliver sales growth and category performance
• Building strong, long-term relationships with Metcash and becoming a trusted commercial partner
• Driving distribution, share of shelf, profitability and market share outcomes
• Leading forecasting and demand planning accuracy across internal and external stakeholders
• Analysing market and scan data to identify opportunities and drive strategic decisions
• Managing P&L outcomes including trade investment and promotional planning
• Supporting new product development, tenders and key customer initiatives

About you

• Proven experience in a National Account Manager
• Strong experience within Independent Grocery (essential) / Metcash
• Demonstrated ability to deliver commercial growth and strategic account plans
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with P&L ownership experience
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical capability with experience using market data/scan insights
• A proactive, resilient mindset with a drive to exceed results
