About the Opportunity

As the National Directs Manager, you’ll play a key role in scaling the ALM Connect and Directs channel, working closely with National Merchandise and Commercial leadership. This is a high-impact position where you can shape supplier engagement, drive revenue growth and influence end-to-end platform performance. It’s an opportunity to step into a visible, commercially focused role with strong stakeholder exposure across ALM. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Macquarie Park, with a flexible hybrid working model (three days per week in the office).

In this Role

• Own supplier trading plans, produce Directs income reports and maintain supplier performance dashboards.


• Manage end-to-end onboarding: new supplier forms, product templates, pricing file review and supplier setup reporting.


• Oversee portal performance, SLA compliance and order processing dashboards; act as primary ALM Connect contact.


• Monitor Distribution Centres fulfilment, supplier service levels and Directs order flow to ensure smooth operations.


• Maximise sales through correct product selection and execution; drive inclusion of ALM Connect products into ALM DCs.


• Deliver regular reporting to Commercial and Merchandise stakeholders and work with Finance on invoice queries and rebate distribution.


• Document business processes, identify bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

You’re Likely a Match If

• 3–5 years relevant experience in managing supplier onboarding, trading or e‑commerce/marketplace operations.


• Previous experience within FMCG will be highly regarded.


• Strong data analysis and reporting capability.


• Experience building supplier trading plans and driving revenue through platform channels.


• Proven ability to manage order flows, Service Level Agreement compliance and Distribution Centres fulfilment metrics.


• Effective communicator, adaptable, process-focused and able to influence cross-functional teams.
