Role Objectives

This is a 16-month contract commencing in September.

As the National Sales Manager - Local Market & TR Oceania you will be responsible for leading and enhancing retail partner relationships while driving LVMH Fragrance Brands overall retail strategy, fostering growth and aligning with corporate objectives. 

This role requires a combination of analytical expertise and strong relationship-building skills to achieve significant sales results, cultivate connections at all levels, and ensure operational excellence.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Retail Sales Management:

  • Achieve budgeted sales targets across B&M and online channels.
  • Strengthen commercial ties with key retailers.
  • Oversee regional sales objectives and KPIs.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with retail partners.
  • Provide market insights to marketing teams.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Deliver comprehensive sales performance reports.
  • Identify risks to sales targets and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage expenditure against budgets.

Leadership and Development:

  • Mentor and develop Retail Managers & Training Executive.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate sales department meetings and conferences.

Training, Recruitment, and Operations:

  • Equip Retail Managers for effective performance appraisals.
  • Develop retail strategies and staffing plans for each store, using data-driven insights to enhance productivity.
  • Liaise between retail and head office teams.

Administrative and Logistical Support:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the sales team, including expense tracking, invoice processing, and maintenance of essential registers. 

 

Experience, Attitudes, Skills, and Knowledge

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in a Retail Management position.
  • Preferably experienced with department stores.
  • Proficient in managing employee rosters, recruitment, coaching, and KPI tracking.
  • Strong experience in establishing and maintaining retailer partnerships.

Skills

  • Retail management expertise.
  • Effective people management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in organizing in-store events.
  • Strong sales analysis skills.
  • Effective stock management techniques.

Knowledge

  • In-depth understanding of the Australian beauty market.
  • Solid grasp of commercial principles and practices.
